Ciao Mauro, scusami tu del tono della mia risposta, ma nel contesto della discussione il tuo intervento mi è parsa una polemica senza senso.
Cmq per quanto riguarda la visibilità a MXP quel giorno c'erano meno di 800 mt di visibilitÃ
Per operare in quelle condizioni l'aeromobile, l'equipaggio , la compagnia e l'aeroporto devono essere attrezzati e certificati in CAT 2.
MXP lo è , OrionAir no. La Orion è certificata CAT1 e quindi può operare entro gli 800 mt . Quindi non c'entra molto quello che ti hanno riferito a MXP perchè non dipende solo da un fattore.
In questo link leggi le CAT quali sono rispetto alle strumentazioni degli aeroporti, ma i numeri sono molto simili , se non inferiori e più restrittivi, per gli aeromobili ed equipaggi
